Poor drainage is the number one cause for foundation failure and can cause havoc in regards to mold and mildew inside the home. We can excavate along the exterior of the home and install below grade waterproofing along with a French drain system to ensure water doesn’t enter the foundation wall. If exterior access isn’t available due to porches/decks/driveways we can install a French drain around the interior perimeter of the foundation wall to prevent any standing water. A new vapor barrier is always installed on the crawlspace floor. If the homeowners wants to take it a step further we can encapsulate the crawlspace using a heavy 20 mil barrier, fire rated foam board, and drain tile.
